Gabriela spends the last days of summer in the countryside. These are days that sway between monotony and boredom, the village's traditions, and the girl's dreams and desires. She is eleven years-old and observes the world as if this was, indeed, the last summer of her childhood.

    Cristina Hergueta Garde

    Rafa Alberola Rubio (Madrid, 1986) is a film writer and director. He has written the short films 'Los galgos', 'El buen amor' and 'Mañana vendrá la bala' directed by Gabriel Azorín, and Elena Lopez Riera's acclaimed 'Pueblo'. 'Septiembre' is his first short film as a director.
