Inequality, injustice and demanding world we live produce that many people get stressed or depressed. Some of them explode. This is a film about them. Vulnerable to a reality that suddenly becomes disturbed and unpredictable, the characters in 'Wild Tales' cross the thin line that divides civilization from barbarism. A loving treason, the return of a repressed past, or violence contained in everyday detail, are presented to and urge the vertigo of losing his temper, the undeniable pleasure of losing control.

Damián Szifrón
Damian was born on July 9, 1975 in Ramos Mejia, Buenos Aires. He is an Argentine screenwriter and film director, creator of the television series 'Pretenders'. He is known internationally for his film 'Wild Tales', one of the most successful Argentinean films in recent times, nominated for the Palme d'Or at the International Film Festival of Cannes and the Oscars in the category of best foreign language film.
