Spain, in the fifties. Montse is no longer young, she has lost her youth caring for her little sister, locked in a sinister apartment in central Madrid. Her mother died during the childbirth of her little sister, and the father could not stand it. He fled cowardly leaving them alone. Forced to be a father, mother and older sister, Montse hides away from life within her four walls, fueling an obsessive and unbalanced temperament: She suffers from agoraphobia, and can’t take a step outside the house. She does not understand what happens to her, and the suffering that this strange disease obliges her to take refuge in a world of Our Fathers and Hail Marys. Montse works as a seamstress and the only link that connects her to reality is the girl, a girl who is ceasing to be. One day, the chain breaks: Carlos, a young and irresponsible neighbor, has the misfortune of falling down the stairs seeking help in the only door which has been able to crawl. Montse picks him up. Someone has entered the den of the shrew, it may not reemerge ...
