Uwe Heidschötter
In 1995 Uwe starts studying at the 'Schule für Gestaltung' in Cologne, Germany. After that he graduates from the 'Lycée technique des Arts et Métiers' in Louxembourg, and worked for several years as an CGI character animator for Ambient Entertainment. Today, Uwe is a freelance character designer and illustrator based in Berlin. His work can be seen in his self-published book 'Augenblick'. 'The Little Boy and the Beast' was his directoral debut.
Johannes Weiland
Born 1977 in Freiburg, Germany, Johannes began his studies at Ludwigsburg Film Academy in Baden-Württemberg in 1998, where he is currently teaching animation. Since his graduation in 2003 he has worked as director/animator at Studio Soi, Ludwigsburg, and at Studio Aka, London. Over the years he has directed a number of award-winning films including 'The Little Boy and the Beast', together with Uwe Heidschötter.
