Deep in the Douro river, between its green and forgotten landscapes, lives a recent legend... the legend of Almudena, the Bride! The story tells of a girl who haunts the ‘Entre-os-Rios’ area, still wearing her wedding dress as in the day she disappeared. Filled with anger, she moves silently by the Douro river... seeking her revenge.

Ana was born in 1982 in Portugal. 'A Noiva' is her first short film. She has worked as producer in short films such as 'Uma Questão de Sangue' and 'The Point is Not the Content'.
