Every morning the first thing Geoffrey does is play his Self Help CD, and put on a fake mustache and beard. Crippled by a lack of confidence, he reluctantly attends a seminar given by his idol, the author of the CD, brash motivational speaker John Power, in the hopes of changing his isolated life, and finding the courage to speak to the girl he watches secretly.
