Nely was born in Barcelona in 1978. She's graduated in Direction in the School of Cinema and Audiovisual of Catalunya (ESCAC). As final project she directed and wrote 'Absence' (2001), her first 35mm. short film, selected at numerous festivals and winning the Communication Award and Honorable Mention in Festival UNICACC of Chile, among others. Subsequently she began working in the management team for advertising and feature films, combining work with their own projects as director and scriptwriter like in the documentary 'Muxía a ferida' about the consequences of the Prestige disaster in the daily life of residents of Muxía, or pieces such as 'Ruido o desierto'. Her latest work is 'Pablo', 35mm. short film.
