Matthew studied Film Production at Cardiff University and in 1998, he moved to London where he initially subsidized his own screenwriting and filmmaking endeavours through TV production work at Mendoza Films, Channel 4 and BBC Broadcast. As production coordinator, and later production manager, he worked on over 70 commercials and promos for major brands, products and television programmes. Matthew also worked as a freelance Script Reader for companies such as Film Four, Little Wing Films and The Script Factory. From 2004-05, he studied for a Masters degree in Screenwriting at The London College of Printing. More recently, he has written for the BBC1 drama series 'Doctors'.
