PSYCHO

Psycho

Austria. 1997. Blanco/negro. 1 min. Experimental. 35mm.
  • Film Director: Martin Arnold.
Austrian experimental film-maker Martin Arnold created this trailer using one of the most famous sequences in film history - the shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho'. The concept is based on Arnold's idea to erase all leading actors and actresses from famous films. As a consequence, we don't see Janet Leigh being murdered, we only hear her fearful scream. The shower, finally, is turned off.
