RADFAHRER

Being classified as subversive, GDR photographer Harald Hauswald was for many years observed by the East German State Security Service STASI under the codename RADFAHRER (CYCLIST). Marc Thümmler´s experimental shortfilm transfers this oppositional relationship to the realm of cinematic montage and mirrors it in design principles by directly confronting Hauswald´s pictures with the reports written by this observers.
