WIGALD

As we watch Wigald's supposedly foolproof suicide attempt, we meet his father who walks in on the operation. However, his father is so wrapped up in his own problems (the main issue being that Wigald's mother wants to leave him) that he fails to register what he interrupted, and instead seeks sympathy from his bewildered son! Completely oblivious to Wigald's current emotional state, he tries to rectify the lost years of communication with his son over a solitary beer.
