Fifty year old Igor belongs to a group of mercenaries. The group has returned to France to bury one of them who was killed in an ambush in Africa. Igor is shattered and doesn't want to go back to Africa. He looks for Irene, a prostitute he met before. He wants her to marry him. Jean, the gang leader, doesn't want Igor to leave. He asks him to hire a young boy, Bruno, who will replace his dead friend.
