This work is based on super-fast editing of images from TV, film, advertising, pornography... The first impact reflects the perceptual confusion and saturation overwhelming us today, as we are flooded by a plethora of images, while the rapid editing evokes the modality of perception which ours brains have become used to: the 'quick glance'. The primary aims of the project is to put across a political standpoint and denounce racism. The 21st of april 2002 was the day of the first round of the French presidential elections. When the results were announced, and when I know that the right wing fascist Jean-Marie Le Pen was selected, I was overwhelmed by so many emotions. The film tries to answer those moments, my answer to the deep existential crisis the I then went through. How to keep on going, how to fight, how to exist as an artist today...
