Paulo has portuguese-french nationality. He began his work in Miragem, a Portuguese production company where he played several artistic and technical roles such as cameraman, editor, director of photography and director, namely in the series 'Major Alvega', that combines live action with animation and virtual backgrounds, shown in Portugal by RTP and many other television channels abroad.
