JAZZ OG KAJAKK

The director Haavind watches some elderly canoeists paddling out into the fjord every morning. One of them always takes a tape recorder to play music while he is training at the club. There is something special about the man, the music and the club house, and Haavind begins to take black and white photographs. Gradually the film evolves into one about the life of jazz musician Gerhard Aspheim, and about our perceptions of life's shifts and coincidences.
