Ludo, eight years, is a happy and fulfilled child. Nevertheless, his family knows financial difficulties. Due to the lack of money, the relatives build the family house by hands. To reach it, everything is saved: the water, the electricity, the bread, the slightest sugar cube. Until then, Ludo wasn't really aware of this poverty. While being sought by his primary school teacher, who asks him to bring back five hundred grams of sugar for an experiment in class, that he's going to become aware of things.
