Isabel is a Brazilian blind woman who is facing a sentimental crisis. Nina is a teenager who is experiencing her first love. They have never met, but at the moment their lives encounter, something as extraordinary as banal will take place in a form of an epiphany.

Aline Casagrande
Aline Casagrande, half Italian, half Brazilian, has been living in Madrid since 2005. She has completed her studies in Drama and Art History, in different institutions in Rio de Janeiro, Madrid and London. With a long experience in the theatre, where she acts, writes and directs, in cinema she has only worked as an actress. Eyes Wide Awake is her first experience as a film director.
