EL CHOLA

A graduate in the Escuela Superior de Artes y Espectáculos (TAI), specialized in Television and Film Direction. Since 2003, he works in film, advertising and television as a director, producer and editor. His shortfilms have won over 60 awards in film festivals in Spain and abroad and he has also been pre-selected for the Oscars in 2007. During that year he stands out that Nasija, his most well-known shortfilm becomes the most awarded shortfilm in Spain. It has been shown in over 20 countries and has won awards in eight of them, Germany, France, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, Italy and Spain. He has been awarded as best director and best European newcomer in seven international festivals.
