Diego Betancor
At the age of 12, he starts to attend the children’s film school Orson the Kid, where he has made over ten shortfilms ('Bajo un árbol', 'Sin vuelta atrás'...), and joins the team of the feature-length fim 'El Guardavías'. In 2004 he founded in Tenerife Gofiator Producciones, where he has shot several shortfilms ('Libre', 'Ernesto solucionador de vidas', 'Mater Parabellum'...). In 2007 he sets up the Festival Internacional de Cine Ateneo Coste Cero, which struggles to spread low-budget films. During that year he also writes and co-directs his first featurel-length film, 'Los veraneantes', produced by Orson the Kid and Maestranza Films. In 2010 he presents 'Cama blanca' and shoots 'La noche rota'. He is now writing what he expects to be his next feature-length film.
