Marisé Samitier Conte
Marisé graduated in English Philology at the University of Zaragoza and in Television and Cinema at the University of Los Angeles, California (UCLA). In 1999, she was one of the 8 women selected by the American Film Institute to take part to the annual competitive program 'Directing Workshop for Women'. She directed her first short film, 'El Anillo' in 1995, and since then, she directed the short films 'Bazar', 'La Virgen', 'El Retorno de la Razón' and 'Apartamento 427', obtaining several awards at international festivals. She's currently developing a trilogy of feature films concerning inmigration and she's co-writing a thriller.
