1936. Pepe and Anselmo, two childhood friends make plans for the future. While the first is full of talent for drawing, and is preparing his first exhibition as a caricaturist, the second one, charismatic and full of ingenuity, is anxious to become a teacher. With the onset of the war, their plans and friendship will be unexpectedly frustrated.
