Sara Mazkiaran
She was born Alsasua in 1970. She has acquired a vast experience in the movie industry primarily as an assistant director. She has worked with directors such as Julio Medem, Javier Fesser, Daniel Calparsoro, Andrucha Waddington, Emilio Lázaro, Alex de la Iglesia, among others, in a variety of projects. Her academic background began in Madrid in TAE (¿?) and subsequently in the 'CINT' in Vitoria. This is where she began to direct her first short films, an activity that she continues to develop to this day. The screenplay of her last work as a director 'The Gatherer' was sponsored by Canal + and the ICAA and premiered in Gijón. Other titles of her work are: 'La Llorona' (2004), a screenplay based on the story of Gloria Anzaldua and 'Hide & Jekill' (2000), a screenplay by Leopoldo María Panero.
