After being diagnosed with a pulmonary diseased, Ben decides to plant a circle of trees in his garden: a shelter of life and protection. One morning, Ben wakes up and discovers a plague of insects destroying his creation.

Verónica Adame Enciso
Veronica is a Spanish-Columbian writer and director living in New York where she is currently working towards her MFA in Film at Columbia University with a concentration in Directing. Veronica’s graduate studies are sponsored by Spain’s La Caixa scholarship. She was born, raised, and educated in Barcelona at Ramon Llull University where she majored in Audio-visual communication. She has been enrolled in a workshop of Creative Writing at University of Barcelona. She has shot three short films and two documentaries. Nowadays, she is working on the preproduction of her next short film and the script of her first feature film.
