Manuel was born in Santander in 1980 and graduated in Audiovisual from the faculty of Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country in 2006. In 2004 he started to shoot short films, experimental videos and video art projects (several of them in collaboration with the artist-performer-filmmaker Ramón Churruca) which obtained numerous awards at various festivals. In 2007 he created the festival Santunderground.
