According to the UN, Central America is the region of the world where there're more cases of violence against women. The short film visualizes the negative factors that affect the lives of women, and delves into the struggles that they carry out to defend their rights.

Unai Aranzadi
He was born in Bilbao, 1975. He studied documentary filmmaking at the International Film School of Cuba (EICTV) and at the University of New York (NYU). Its professional career started to develop in Denmark (1998) as a camera operator in a production company, leading to a stage of cameraman in the Film Department of Canal +. During three years he covered some of the most important film festivals worldwide, including Cannes, Berlin or Venice. In 2001 he founded 'INDEPENDENT DOCS' a production company specialized in documentaries on armed conflicts and human rights. Since then, he has been recording reportages about afghan talibans, colombian guerrillas or somalian warlords. As a medium and long feature documentary filmaker, Aranzadi has written and directed over a dozen films, which have been aired on BBC, Al Jazeera, or Canal +.
