Documentary about a person suffering from a disease named 'Captivity Syndrom', meaning that he can only move a finger, with which, thanks to a special computer programme, he can communicate and reached to write two books, the second one with the same title than the documentary. This person, Charlie, can't move any part of his body; he can't talk, nor masticate, he's a healthy mind locked up in a still body. The only part of his brain affected is the one corresponding to mobility, so as difference to other patients, he can feel his arms or legs, even if he can't move them. Since he suffered the sudden cerebral attack which plunged him into this situation, eight years ago, two months before getting married, at 32 years old, he keeps on fighting to better with the support of his wife, Puri. This is a story of courage from him to keep on living and a story of love, but with special merit for his wife. The main idea of the short film are the different experiences of Charlie that are reflected with various verbs that reflect the stages he's been through and go from the most negative one to the most important one for him: to live. Charlie lost lots of verbs, but maintains the most importants such as: to think, communicate, love, and the already mentionned to live. He's surrounded by three towns: Valladolid, where they're living; Almería, birthplace of the director and used to argue the reasons of the verb to live, and Madrid.
