Shot over the course of the final six months of inmate Marie Stengård's prison sentence, the short film is made from repeated visits to the Färingsö women's prison outside of Stockholm. Here, throughout this duration, changes occur in her correctional uniforms, interior and exterior landscapes, and in Marie's descriptions of philosophical and practical matters as her release date approaches.
