My grandmother has almost reached the end of her life; her skin became thin as tissue paper. Now it's grandma preparing her good-bye while I realize that her life and death are inseparable from mine. It's an aesthetic approach to the unknown, the traces of time and our upcoming good-bye.

Josephine Links

Josephine was born in 1983 in East Berlin where she also grew up. She spent a year in England and another in Japan. After graduating in European Ethnology and Film Studies in 2007, she began studying Directing at the HFF 'Konrad Wolf' in Potsdam Babelsberg.
