The pirate captain in command of a slovenly improvised crew, and seemingly oblivious to the insurmountable obstacles in his way, focuses on his one and only obsession: defeating his eternal rivals Black Bellamy and Sablazo Liz to win the prize of Pirate of the Year, on an odyssey which will take our heroes from the shores of the exotic Blood Island to the misty streets of Victorian London. While on their travels, they will fight a diabolical queen, and join forces with a young and hopelessly in love scientist, but they will never lose sight of what a pirate can never get enough of: adventure!

Peter Lord
Born in 1953 in Bristol, United Kingdom, Peter is a producer and film director, co-founder of Aardman Animations studio, an animation company better known for its claymation films. In cooperation with David Sproxton, his childhood friend, he had the idea to direct animated films. Lord and Sproxton founded Aardman, a small studio, and produced short films and trailers for publicity. Later, in the 1980’s, Nick Park joined them. Lord, Park and Sproxton developed their own style, of claymation detailed and lovely characters. The three of them work in cooperation alterning production, direction and edition works.
