Seven decades ago, a renowned Holland artist, painted a picture that later became more than an inspiration, it became a revelation. Years later the painter acknowledged that he had not been dreaming (asleep) at the time of portraying a few fishermen who trapped a mermaid in the net on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
