Inspired by the 'letter and spirit' of the 24 preludes that the Polish musician composed on the island, I draw a line through the Majorcan countryside, looking for spots where nowadays it's still possible to feel the echo of that primal romanticism that I also suffered from.

Carlos Vásquez Méndez
Carlos studied at the Escuela de Cine de Chile, then completed his degree with Visual Anthropology and Cultural Studies subjects, worked in a film lab and taught Cinematography in Santiago before moving permanently to Barcelona where after doing the Master of Documentary at the University Pompeu Fabra, he concentrated on developing his own film work next to essay and experimental film. At the same time, he also collaborates with other filmmakes, teaches cinema and writes permanently about documentary film.
