Daniel P. Álava was born in Tenerife, Canary Isles. He studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of Navarra in Spain, and took part in several audiovisual projects such as short film, clips, short documentaries and even one feature film, 'Blue Lips'. Daniel is director and screenwriter of two student short films - 'Caracola' and 'Dummies'.
