David Cánovas
David graduated in Audiovisual Comunication at the University of Madrid. He works as director on tv shows. His first shorts as a professional, 'Mate' and 'Sin remite', shows his passion for fantastic drama. On 2005 he made his debut on 35mm with 'El intruso', a short film with thriller structure, starring José Coronado and Goya Award nominee as Best Narrative Short Fiction in 2005. After this works he shoots 'Cambio de turno' and 'El contratiempo'; this three shorts filmed on 35mm have won some national and international awards and are included on the catalogue of shorfilms edited each year by the Canary Goverment. His last shortfilm before 'Odio' is called 'Cuestión de actitud', a realistic working class drama, starring Mari Valdivielso.
