Dunkerque, North of France. During the Carnival, a 'carnavaleux' wanders alone through the streets. Nobody is there, the town is empty. As he arrives on the beach, the noise of the Carnival, the songs and the music seem to come from the sea...

Gilles Cuvelier

Gilles was born in 1977 in Lille. After studies of Applied Arts, he entered the first promotion of the 'Cinema of Animation' DMA of the ESAAT School of Arts in Roubaix, then the Gobelins' Image School, in Paris. Back in the North of France, he started as animator assistant several short films, produced by Les Films du Nord.
