Ana, 30 years old, is an ambulance driver. Though good at her job, she has problems relating in her personal life. She doesn't know it, but she suffers from a condition known by psychiatrists as Borderline Personality Disorder. The situation pushes her to outbreaks of self-destructive behaviour, alcohol abuse and self-harm. Ana is incapable of getting what she wants most: to be happy.

Fernando Franco
Fernando was born in Seville in 1976. He has been working for more than twelve years as an editor of feature films, some of the most important of which are Pablo Berger's 'Blancanieves' (for which he was nominated for the Goya) and 'No tengas miedo', by Montxo Armendáriz. Meanwhile, he has developed his own projects as a director, having shot six short films and several music videos. He's head of Editing at the ECAM. 'La herida' is his first feature film.
