'One morning a family, living far away from the rest of civilization, is haunted by a disease. Suddenly the phone stops working, the electricity goes off and the radio stops playing. The hope of finding help disappears. The causes of all of this seem puzzling – but are the stifling reality'.

Timo Kalevi Puukko

Timo was born in Finland in 1975. In 2000, he started his film studies, first in Finland and then since 2001 in the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA), Bulgaria, from where he graduated as a film director in 2005. He lives in Berlin. He's also a composer, an active member of a few rock/electronic music groups, and he also organizes film festivals for several organizations.
