'Those little things' is the story of a complex and interdependent relationship between an elegant mother and a daughter who suffers achondroplasia (dwarfism). The muted taboos between the two women resonate more than ever as they prepare the house for the visit of the son and brother who lives away.

Carla Simón

Carla was born in 1986 in a small Catalan village. She is part of an extended family full of stories, where she finds her inspiration as a writer and director. In 2009 she graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​after having spent a year at the University of California. In 2010 she started a Master's in TV Quality and Innovation organized by the Television de Catalunya. Since September 2011 she has lived in London where she studies the Master of Arts at the London Film School, thanks to a scholarship of Obra Social 'la Caixa'.
