“Olympia” was the first documentary feature film of the Olympic Games ever made (Berlin, 1936). Despite the particularly tumultuous political context of the time and to define forever the life of its director, Leni Riefenstahl, “Olympia” meant a genuine technical revolution for the documentary. For its realization, Riefenstahl worked with the most renowned slow motion photographer in Europe: Kurt Neubert.
