Álvaro Yebra
Álvaro Yebra holds a degree in Media Studies by the University of Valencia (UV), followed by a PhD in Film Studies. Since 2008 he works in Some Like It Short, distribution company and online shop specialized in international short films, in charge of programming and sales. He has participated in numerous international festivals and markets as a speaker and jury, including Cinanima (Portugal), Krakov Film Festival (Poland) Regard sur le courtmétrage (Canada). He´s also programmer at the International Festival of Cinema Jove Valencia and member of the Aula de Cinema of the UV, where he programs audiovisual activities and screenings. He belongs to the editorial board of L'Atalante. Revista de Estudios Cinematográficos, where he is currently editing the next issue focused on cinema and Internet. He also performs often cultural and educational projects on cinema and audiovisual.
