Jan Procházka was a politician, writer and screenwriter. Between 1968-1969 he was vice-chairman of the Czechoslovak Writers Union but after 1969 his works were forbidden for political reasons. A short film by Radovan Sibrt was inspired by a story in Mariusz Szczygie\'s book \'Gottland\'.
