In 2008 Iván Ruiz Flores created the company AniuR Creativos Audiovisuales (www.aniur.es) for the purpose of producing his own cinematographic works. He has written and directed the short films La culpa del otro (2009), Mie2 (2010) and Dulce (2011), works that have garnered over 170 international awards. The latter has been, moreover, recognized by prestigious International Judging Panels featuring the likes of Francis Ford Coppola, Ridley Scott, Robert Rodríguez, Rutger Hauer, and Vladimir Cruz, among others. In 2012 he released Lección debida, his first full-length motion picture, which won 5 international awards and was a finalist at the Opuzen Film Festival, along with Amor (2012), by Michael Haneke; A Roma con Amor (2012), by Woody Allen; and César debe Morir (2012), by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani.
