A true story: A few years ago in Valencia I bought a bag for one euro in a casual evening auction. When I got home and opened it, I saw many papers in it and among them, two letters dated from 1946, which haven't been sent. In them, the author announces his imminent suicide as a result of the aftermath of the war, prison and the loss of his loved ones. 'The Last Embrace' is a documentary that records the research from finding out who the author of the letters was and what led him to want to commit suicide.
