Silvia Venegas born in Santa Marta de los Barros, Spain, in 1982. She has directed documentaries that focus on people who rebel against their fate. 'Boxing for Freedom' is her first feature film. Previously, she has directed the shorts 'The children of Mama Wata' and 'Prescription Art'.
