Ubay Murillo is a Canarian painter who lives in Berlin. From the distance it questions the idea of paradise involving his island in times when everything seems to crack except the paradise, or at least its set.
Macu studied filmmaking in Madrid, screenwriting in Cuba and holds a Master’s Degree in Documentary Film from the Universidad del Cine of Buenos Aires. She worked as a scriptwriter/director for documentaries in Barcelona, Argentina and the Canary Islands. She also writes about films in specialized magazines such as 'Fuera de Campo' (Ecuador) and in the book 'Coutinho. Cine de Conversación y Antropología Salvaje'. Now she is in the development stage of her first feature documentary 'Fallen Leaves'.
