After finishing school Maximilian Villwock left Hamburg to work for a shipping company in Santiago de Chile. Two years later he returned to Europe to work as an assistant on movies and commercials. He worked for companies like Markenfilm (Hamburg) and Partizan Films in Paris, where he lived for two more years. During that time he gained first experience in making movies. He currently studies at the Filmuniversität in Babelsberg, Potsdam.
