Gijon's Labor University is the maximum example of monumental architecture during the Franco autarchy in Spain (1939-1959). A boarding school for a thousand children, this socio-educational laboratory enacted the aspired future shape of the country's imposed 'New Order'.
Guillermo was born in Madrid in 1981. He's art historian and filmmaker. He's currently completing in the Reina Sofía Museum doctorate, a thesis on 'film-essay on art'. His two first films 'Las variaciones Guernica' and 'El jardín imaginario' have been proyected in cinemas, universities and cultural centres in Europe, North America and Latin America.
