A 'container village' for refugees at the borders of town. A transit space where everyday life merges with memories and pictures of the past. 'The Blood We Saw' explores this life in a state of uncertainty and gives a notion of how people there might feel.
Josephine was born in 1983 in East Berlin where she also grew up. She spent a year in England and another in Japan. After graduating in European Ethnology and Film Studies in 2007, she began studying Directing at the HFF 'Konrad Wolf' in Potsdam Babelsberg.
