'Island' is told through fragments of the life of a frustrated single-woman, in her early thirties. Eva is looking for Mr. Right. Better today, then tomorrow. Besides her four failed affairs, with her classmate Dominic, her bestie Lorenz, the swimmer Yves and with the DJ Luca. Eva is also searching for the answer, why she always falls in love with the wrong men … who aren't already engaged or aren't into her. Is it a new beginning with men number five? Will history repeat itself or will her revision of her own patterns allow for new beginnings?
