After Moroccan military occupation of Western Sahara, hundreds of people were forced to disappear in secret jails. Soukeina was one of them, she was missing for 10 years. When she got back her freedom, the world had completely changed.

She’s been graduated with a degree in Audiovisual Communications from the Universidad Autónoma in Barcelona (UAB), and in Direction of Photography from the School of Cinematography of Madrid (ECAM). Se’s deepened her studies in screenplay at the International School of Film and TV of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV, Cuba), and her studies in photography at the International School of Photography of Madrid (EFTI). She was also mentored by documentarian Octavio Cortázar at the International School of Film and TV of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV, Cuba), and by Patricio Guzmán at the Institute of Cinema of Madrid (NIC).
She’s worked in the department of photography for the feature length fims: “Elsa & Fred”, “¿Por qué se frotan las patitas?”, “Tirant Lo Blanc”, “Ici Disi 2” “Fordos” or “Trastorno”. She’s been screenwritter for “Aragón, el viaje fascinante”, a docummentarian serial in Aragón TV. Currently, she’s the director of “Gourmetmania”, a tv magazine in Aragón TV.
She’s obtained 23 national awards and nearly 70 national and international selections with her first short fiction piece EL TALENTO DE LAS MOSCAS (The Talent Of Flies).
