Plus Ultra is the motto of the Spanish state. This slogan was used to encourage navigators to conquer new lands, forgetting the warning from Greek mythology: Non Terrae Plus Ultra (There is no land beyond here).

Helena was born in 1988 in Santiago de Compostela. After graduating in Audiovisual Communication she did her master in screenwriting and editing. She is currrently focussing on documentaries and experimental productions, using physical material and photochemical processes. She has worked both as photographer and editor.

Samuel was born in Tenerife in 1987. He graduates in Audiovisual Communication, specializing in screenwriting. His works are mainly located at the borderline of non-fiction. He is co-director of the documentary 'Up Against the Wall Motherfuckers!' and director of 'Malpaís'.
